Spectacular. Sebastiano's is a bit quirky - a small selection of sandwiches, a small selection of prepackaged items (marmalade, olive oil, salt), a small selection of baked goods, and only open at lunchtime 4 days a week (Wed - Sat). Also appearing at the neighborhood farmer's market down the street on Sundays. The good news is that it's completely worth having to remind yourself to check the calendar and the clock to visit these wonderful people. There were two of us on my recent visit. We split that day's sandwich special - a Sebastiano's Hoagie, and it rivalled anything I ever had growing up on the East Coast. We also split a fantastic rustic fruit tart, and each had a wonderfully cold Italian lager. Another of the quirks was walking up to the dutch door out front, checking out the posted menu and the goodies on display in the window, ordering, and then walking out back to the festive patio seating set up in a corner of the parking lot. Not a typical dining experience, but I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Sandwich was tasty and filling. Focaccia was a great density. Olive oil cake had a great texture. Service was fast and exceptional. Cute little neighborhood spot!

This place is the truth. Was recommended it multiple times and finally was around the area to try it. The focaccia was perfect. Was with a large group that ordered almost every thing on the menu and not a single person was disappointed. It’s rare to say the chips are more than an addition but the however they are seasoned were a perfect pairing with the meal. Absolutely recommend

Easily one of the best Italian pastry and sandwich shops in all of Portland. Every single one of the dishes is incredible. A must see in selwood My friends and I ordered half of the menu, tried everything, and enjoyed all of it.

What a beautiful hidden gem! I am absolutely addicted to their marmalade and pastries! The atmosphere inside the restaurant is so serene and lovely - you feel like you're tucked away in a little corner in Europe. This is certainly a great spot to meet a friend for a chat, or enjoy lunch with your family. Great people and excellent service too -- 10/10!

I must preface this interview by saying that I'm honestly not a huge fan of sandwiches overall, so perhaps by default I simply just enjoyed my experience less than someone who does love sandwiches. I wasn't super impressed by the flavors of the Jim Jonke, which a lot of people do seem to like, and I feel like I've better enjoyed tomato soups that I've paid much less for. I do appreciate the fresh ingredients, but overall the menu seemed overpriced to me, though that's common in Portland. The homemade chips were undeniably really good, as well as the bread they used. And best of all were the desserts. The restaurant is clean and in a cool location, and I can see the appeal of it, but it just wasn't my thing.

First time visit 1/5/26. Great latte and pastries. Looking forward to trying a sandwich next visit. Small interior space during the bad weather. Garage doors might open in the Spring.
